Osborn Milton Wangen 65, Michigan,ND died July 21,1978 at ST Luke's Hospital, Fargo,ND from Heart valve surgery that turned into Streptococcus infection that could not be stop.
Osborn Milton Wangen was born Oct. 5, 1912 at home on the farm at Petersburg, ND to Hans and Mary(Donnelly) Wangen. He grew up in the Petersburg area.
He married Eva Leach at Bird Island, MN. on June 8, 1940; after their marriage they lived and farmed in Nash Twp. Nelson Co.,ND until Osborn retirement three years ago, they then moved into Michigan, ND. Osborne was a member of the ST. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church, Michigan, ND.
Surviving members of the family are his wife,;Michigan; one son Jerome, Petersburg,ND; five daughters; Mary Ann(Wayne) Ensrud, McGregor,ND; Kathleen(Terrance)Sateren, Copperas Cove,TX; Patricia(Neil)Trautman, Martin,SD; Audrey Wangen, Grand Forks, ND;and Annette Wangen, Grafton, ND.; seven grandchildren; one sister, Alyce(Robert) McMillan, Niagara, ND. three brothers; Joseph, Grand Forks,ND.; Lawrence and Hans Jr. of Petersburg, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Anna Marie Wangen; Mary Lucille(Adolph)Hassell, and Lugena(Adam)McMillan.
A funeral mass was held at ST. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church Michigna, ND with Father F.X.Miller celebrant.
