Survived by his wife; two sons - Joe Mac Downey and Robert Jackson Downey; one daughter - Mary June Downey; two grandchidlren; eight brothers - Stanton, Bob, John, Ray, Hughie, Wake, Alva and Marvin Downey; one sister - Mrs. J.S. Simpson.
Services were held Hawley Church of Christ with Dale King, minister, officiating, assisted by Rev. Johnny Brown, Hawley Methodist minister and Rev. Jesse Swindell, Hawley Baptist pastor.
