Mrs. Felkey of Armstrong Dies at 79
Mrs. Jennie Felkey, 79, of Armstrong died Monday evening at Holy Family hospital. She had been making her home with her son, Harlan in Graettinger, where she suffered a stroke Friday evening. Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Armstrong at the Presbyterian church at 2 p.m., the Rev. Alex Orr officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove cemetery.

Born May 12, 1876 at Estherville, Jennie Isabelle Davis, married Jesse Felkey July 1, 1901. Upon retirement from farming in the Halfa community, the Felkeys moved to Armstrong.

Survivors include two sons, Merle of Kenosha, Wis., Harlan of Graettinger; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Flier of Amery, Wis., four sisters, Mrs. Mae Dunn of Armstrong, Lillian Davis and Mrs. David Worster, both of Estherville; Mrs. John Goldsberry of Gruver, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, one sister and two children; her son Worth who died in infancy and daughter Mildred Belle, who died at the age of three.
