MACOMB - Virginia Campbell, 80, Macomb, formerly of Bushnell, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday (Sept. 2, 1997) in the Elms Nursing Home, Macomb.
She was born April 6, 1917, in Roseville, the daughter of Ralph J. and Ester Bauer Dare.
She married Walter Dean Campbell in Kansas City, Kan., on March 7, 1947.
Surviving are two sons, Walter D. Campbell Jr., Burlington, Iowa, and Gary Campbell, Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Cathy Pease, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a half brother, Floyd Long.
She was a homemaker and worked for the Elms Nursing Home in Bushnell and Macomb for 17 years. She retired in 1985.
She resided in the Cuba area before moving to Bushnell in 1966.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bushnell Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell. Family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Smithfield.
Memorials may be made to the Elms Nursing Home.
