ANNA RUPPENTHAL

Mrs. Anna Ruppenthal, 95, of Hilbert died early today at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ruppenthal.
Born on Dec. 14, 1874 at Louis Corners (Town of Schleswig), she was a daughter of the late Carl and Johanna Heidemann Zorn.
She was married to Rudolph Ruppenthal on Dec. 14, 1899 at Louis Corners.
The couple moved to Hilbert in 1900 and went into the hardware business which they operated until his death on Nov. 16, 1929.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Ida) Volleskey of Valders; one son, Edward of Hilbert; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hilbert, the Rev. Kenneth J. Weber, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kapitzke Funeral Home, Hilbert, from 3 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday and at the church until the hour of services.
