She died on May 15, 1893 in her home near Arthur, IA. She was buried on May 17, 1893 in Ida Grove Cemetery, Ida County, IA. Rev. J. R. H. Latchaw D.D. of Findley, OH conducted the service.

Elizabeth was married to Jacob Kingston. She was the daughter of John and Jane Ayres Ross.
