Mrs. Funk Dead.
Mrs. Jane A. Funk, wife of Mr. M.T. Funk, of Wichita, better known here as Aunt Jane Funk, died at her home, at 1117 South Topeka Avenue, Wichita, at 5 o'clock Monday morning. Her death was due to a fall received eleven years ago, and from which she had never recovered. Her many friends and neighbors here are sorry to learn of her death.

Mrs. M.T. Funk.

Jane A Ross, was born August 31, 1839, in Iowa and died October 24, 1921, at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 4 day.

She was married to M.T. Funk, October 16th, 1856, at Wilton Junction, Iowa. To this union three children were born; two daughters, Mrs. Alice L. Parker, and Mrs. Bitha E. Reed, and one son, Herschel R. Funk, all living in Wichita.

They moved to Belle Plaine, Kansas in 1880, and on March 6th, 1910 moved to Wichita, Kansas, They moved to 1117 South Topeka Avenue. She is survived by her husband, a veteran of the civil war and a member of Garfield Post, G.A.R., of Wichita; one son, H.R. Funk, living at home and two daughters, Mrs. A. Parker and Mrs. Bitha E. Reed; four grandchildren, Mrs. Pearl Kise, Mrs. Elsie Drumbauld, Miss Melba Parker and Mrs. Opal Winters, and one great grandchild, Parker Dale Dumbauld, all residing in Wichita.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Wichita Undertaking Parlors. Interment took place in the College Hill Memorial Lawns Mausoleum. Services conducted by Mrs. Isola Nessly, of the First Church of Christ Scientist, of Wichita, Kansas.

The News joins the many old friends and neighbors in extending to the bereaved ones who live to revere her memory, their sincere sympathy.
