Mrs. Louie Polster, 64, of 1032 7th St., Kiel, died today at St. Nicholas Hospital, following a lingering illness.

She was born Catherine Schuler July 4, 1897, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Stahlmann Schuler. She attended district schools in the Town of Rhine, and was baptized and confirmed at the Elkhart Lake Reformed Church.

She was married to Louie G. Polster June 28, 1919, in the Town of Russell. The couple farmed in that township and also in Calumet County before moving to Kiel eight years ago. She was a member of the St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, and a member of the Women's Guild of that church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. WAlter (Adeline) Wagner, Kiel, Mrs. Clarence (Marion) Wagner, St. Nazianz, and Mrs. Earl (Kathleen) Otto, Howards Grove; seven sons, Gordon of New Holstein, Allen of Milwaukee, James of Hika, and Henry, DeLyle, Clarence and Louis, Jr., all of Kiel; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Meta Mertens of Kiel and Mrs. Joseph Fabres of Sheboygan; three brothers, Walter of Plymouth, Milton of the Town of Russell and Fred of Manitowoc and 16.

She was preceded in death by one son,Paul,three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's UCC, Kiel. The Rev. Charles Koch, New Holstein, will officiate in the absence of the Rev. Vernon Jaberg. Burial will be in the Kiel cemetery.
