Frank Westbrook, a prominent farmer of Hanover Township succumbed to an attack of heart disease near his home, Tuesday evening.
Mr. Westbrook had been feeling badly for several days but did not consider his trouble seriously. He had, in a field near the home, a family of small pigs and was at the time looking after their comfort in the storm which was threatened. When the family found that he did not return promptly they searched for him and found him dead. The deceased was aged 58 years and leaves a wife, Mrs. Laura Westbrook, two sons, Guy and Frank, five daughters, Mrs. James Debevoise of Granville Road, Mrs. W.W. Dresback of Columbus, Mrs. Henry Koontz of Hanover, and Ida and Blanche of the home. Also four brothers and one sister.
Frank Westbrook was born at Sycamore, OH, December 25 (Christmas Day) 1858, and departed this life on May 7, 1918, aged 59 years, 4 months and 12 days.
He was united in marriage to Miss Laura Armstrong April 1, 1883. To this union was born ten children, three having preceded him to the Great Beyond, where no sorrow comes.
Funeral cortege will leave the home Friday morning at 11:00 o'clock and services will be held at Rocky Fork church. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Byers of Springfield and Rev. Mr. Carman will officiate.
