Leonora Jochimsen 1995
Leonora Jochimsen, 94, formerly of 1036 3rd St., Kiel, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where she resided the past 1 ½ years.
She is the former Leonora Voss, born April 11, 1900 in Kiel, daughter of the late Theodore and Alma Oesau Voss. She attended Kiel Schools. On Feb. 21, 1919 she married Ernst R. Jochimsen. The couple farmed in the Town of Schleswig. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1967.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Howard Jochimsen, Broomall, Penn.; two granddaughters; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Meiselwitz-Vollsteadt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel cemetery.
