Florence A. DeLanty, 46, N. First St., Hilbert, age 79, died Friday, Aug. 24, 1990, at Appleton Medical Center after a short illness.
She was born June 23, 1911, in Kiel, the daughter of the late Theodore and Alma (Oesau) Voss. She attended Kiel schools and was a graduate of Kiel High School.
She was married Nov. 8, 1929, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hilbert to Harold DeLanty. The couple had resided all of their married lives in Hilbert where Mrs. DeLanty was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hilbert. She also enjoyed working in her garden.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Jess (Betty) Hernandez, San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Victor (Dolores) Esbensen, Appleton; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Debbie DeLanty, Hilbert; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Leonora Jochimsen, Kiel, Mrs. Irma Kerr, Winnetka, Ill., and very special friends Ray and Margaret Krautkramer of Hilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold, in 1974.
Services were at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hilbert, with the Rev. Rallen Stencil officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
