Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Hinz, 79, formerly of 1421 S. 16th St., who died Thursday at Sunny Ridge, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Nickel's Funeral Home.
The Rev. Arnold Wenger, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
The former Marie Ortlepp was born in the Town of Rantoul (Calumet County) on Dec. 12, 1890, a daughter of the late Gottfried and Marie Ortlepp. She was baptized and confirmed in Trinity Lutheran Church there.On May 4, 1915, she was married to Albert Hinz. He died in 1948.
Mrs. Hinz worked for several years at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital and retired in 1965. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer of Valders and Melvin of Sheboygan; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Marion) Lenz, of Black River; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild; six brothers, and six sisters.
One brother, Richard, died on Tuesday of this week.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Hinz's name for the St. Paul Lutheran Church renovation fund.
