HATTON -- William Jesse Jeffreys, 87, 6432 Lawrence 236, died Wednesday, Jan 20, 1993, at Lawrence County Hospital, Moulton.
He was a member of Okolona Baptist Church and a deacon for 60 years.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Funeral Home chapel, Moulton, with Elmer Fowler and the Rev. J.B. Wells officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include sons, William J. Jeffreys Jr., Moulton; brothers, Gurna Jeffreys, Dempsey Jeffreys, both of Town Creek; sisters, Vada Walker, Mount Hope, Nina Lansford, Vincent, Ada Hagood, Town Creek, Zelma Woods, Leighton; two grandchildren.
Bearers will be Carlos Hagood, Malcolm Walker, Harold Jeffreys, Dan Jeffreys, Aaron Smith and Warren Thrasher.
