Ray F. Addy

Ray Franklin Addy was born in Lee township, Madison county, April 10, 1891 and passed away at his home in Crawford township. His untimely death was caused by pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He was taken sick Oct. 16th and passed from this life on Saturday, Oct. 26th, at the age of 27 years, 6 months and 16 days. He was married to Lena C. Bernau, May 25, 1911. Five children were born to this union: Laura Wilhelmina, age 7; Pauline Rose, age 5; Robert Thomas, age 4; Floyd Ray, age 2; and Leroy Alexandra, age 14 months. He leaves to mourn his death, a loving wife, five children, a mother, five sisters, six brothers, the youngest brother, Orvie, being in France; and a host of other relatives and friends.
