CHIROPRACTOR DIES AT AGE OF 57

Clarence B. Johnson, 57, of 1402 Capitol, doctor of chiropratic, died at thre family home at ten-thirty a.m. today following a long illness.

Dr. Johnson was born in Ogden March 31, 1891, a son of Joseph Thomas and Elizabeth Rollins Johnson. He graduated from Weber academy in 1911 and for two years was employed in the forestry service office in Santa Fe, N.M., and Salmon, Idaho. In 1915 he graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, and was a member of the Utah Chiropractic association. At time of death he was believed the oldest chiropratic in years of practice in Utah.

He was an active member of the L.D.S. church and had taught Sunday school. He was a member of the genealogical board of L.D.S. North Weber, Ogden and Mount Ogden stakes. At time of death he was a member of the Mount Ogden ward and of Mount Ogden stake high priests quorum.

On January 28, 1920, he married Arlene Parry in the L.D.S. Manti temple.

Surviving are his widow, Ogden, and the following sons and daughters: Clarence (Budd) Johnson, Jr., Frank Johnson, Joseph Johnson and Mrs. Charlotte Sander, Ogden; three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: David Johnson, Twin Falls, Idaho, Idaho; Howard Johnson and Mrs. Howell Slater, Ogden, and Mrs. Josephine Hawkins, Salt Lake City.
