Paul Atterberry, 90, of Peoria died Monday, Aug. 5, 1996, at Lindenwood Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 26, 1905, in Peoria to J.G. and Jennie McHugh Atterberry, he married Kathryn Boatman Root on Dec. 10, 1933, in Peoria. She died Jan. 29, 1992. He also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving is one brother, Claude of Fort Myers, Fla.
He was a switchman for the Peoria and Pekin Union Railroad out of Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1971. He was member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria.
Graveside services will be at LaSalle Cemetery in rural Chillicothe.
