Mrs. Haskett was the daughter of Elisha and Martha Ann (Wallace) Haskett and was born near Newcastle, in Henry county, February 23, 1850. She married on March 18th, 1866. Nine children were born to their union, three being deceased and six with the husband survive; Mrs. Clara Evans and Charles Woodruff of Indianapolis, Albert Woodruff of Russiaville, Mrs. Sophia Mendenhall of Tipton, and Bernard and Ray near tipton. Of a large family of brothers and sisters Mrs. Woodruff is survived by Mrs.Nellie Nicholson, Christy and Rix Haskett of Tipton, Mrs. James Hoover of Kokomo.
