J. Van Otterloo Dies at Age 78 at Hospital Here.
Funeral services for Johannes Van Otterloo, 78, Ireton resident for several years who died at the Hawarden hospital Tuesday, were held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral home. Rev. Austin Atwood of the Hawarden Community church officiated. Burial was in the Sioux Center cemetery.
Mr. Van Otterloo was born January 18, 1882, at Orange City. He later resided in Ireton where he was a carpenter.
Survivors include the stepmother Mrs. Stephen Van Otterloo; a half-sister Mrs. Henry Ter Haar of Sioux Center, and a half brother, Peter Van otterloo of Grand Rapids, Mich.
