BUNION BALLEW
Bunion Ballew, 77, of 209 Colonial Ave., Riverside, died Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at his home following a prolonged illness.
Born in upper Greenville County, he was a son of the late A.P. Ballew and Juliet Moon Ballew. He had spent his entire life in Greenville County. For many years, Mr. Ballew was at Poe Mill in the Weave Room.
He was affiliated with the Cedar Lane Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Buff Ballew; one son, John Ballew of Greenville, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 4:30 p.m. at the Mackey Mortuary by Rev. Floyd McAuley and Rev. Claud Neeley. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Moore, Paul Case, C.A. Cann, Fred B. Rich, F.L. Dover and Albert McKinney.
The body is at the mortuary.
The family is at the home, 209 Colonial Avenue, Riverside.
