Croal Ballew, 71, of 11 Pelzer St., Monaghan, died at his home last night at 6:35 following two years of decling health and one week of serious illness.
He was a member of Monaghan Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Janie Merrill Ballew; five sons, Harold M. Ballew, Rio de Janiero, Brazil; William C. Ballew, Wilson, NC; Clint J. Ballew, Jack W. Ballew and Frank A. Ballew, Greenville.
Funeral arrangementsare incomplete, but will be announced later by R.D. Jones, funeral director
