RUSSELL SERVICES SET
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ballard Chapel for Samuel Russell, 75, of 507 E. Forest Stl, who died Wednesday of natural causes at St. Mary's Hospital.

Officiating will be the Revs. Don Peatty and Andy Tydlaska of the Grace Assembly of God Church with burial at the South Park Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Asa and Judy Paschall and Dona and Wyona Petty.

Mr. Russell was born March 12, 1904 in McKinney, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. James M. (Louisa Oldham) Russell. He was married Aug. 30 1930 in Roswell to Miss Mabel Hardy, who survives.

Russell was a 51-year resident of Roswell who retired as a cement contractor.

He was a member of the Grace Assembly of God Church.

Russell was preceded in death by one brother, three sisters and one granddaughter.

Other survivors include three sons, Bob Russell of Houston, Texas, Verl Russell of Shreveport, La., and Dic Russell, also of Houston; two daughters, Marcelle Russell of Roswell, Glynda Sims of Plano, Texas; one brother, Charles Russell of Roswell; four sisters, Monti Turner of Chandler, Okla., Myrtle Languell of Albuquerque, Mayme Languell of Albuquerque, and Lessie Wright of Belen; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Berry Cale, Clarence Dunsmore, Bob Jones, Asa Paschall, Benny Paschall and Charles Sims.

Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. Don Clark, Sherman Sims, Dr. T.L. Stangebye, and Rev. James Wells.
