BRAZIL, Ind. (Special) -
William Emanuel Thomas, 67, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday at the Clay County Hospital. He was a coal miner and a service station operator. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Surviving are the widow, Ellen; three sons, William, Brazil, Robert, South Bend, Tommy M., Carbon; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Morlan, Carbon, Mrs. Ruth Armstrong, Brazil, and Mrs. Mary Pickett, Brazil; five sisters, Mrs. John Boswell, Mrs. Daniel Myers, Mrs. Park Martin, and Mrs. Norval Howard, all of Carbon. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Miller & Sons Funeral Home. burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.
