Rosa Lee Jones, 71, of Orange, Calif., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died Saturday, February 17, 2001 in Orange.
Born September 30, 1929 in Flint, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Herman Rushing and Anna Dispennett Rushing.
Rosa Lee was united in marriage to Charles Edward Jones on December 13, 1947 in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1976.
She was a licensed vocational nurse with the Gardena Memorial Hospital in Gardens, Calif., prior to her retirement. She attended the First Baptist Church of Caruthersville prior to moving to California.
Mrs. Jones leaves one son, Ed Jones, of Orange; Two grandchildren: Robert John Rodgers and his wife Diana of Oceanside, Calif., and Connie Lee Rodgers of Oceanside; and Four great-grandchildren; Monique, Robert, Klarissa, and Jacob
Funeral services for Mrs. Jones were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2001 at the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville with Rev. Ira Singleton officiating.
Burial was at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville with H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
