Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Agnes Curfew Harward Jensen, 97, died November, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born to James and Lois Stoddard Curfew May 13, 1901 in Reed (Beaver County), Utah. She married Simmons Harward December 7, 1921 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 2, 1937. She married Willard Jensen May 21, 1947. He died April 7, 1973. Agnes has been active in the LDS Church and has served in both the Aurora and Centerfield wards. She was an avid homemaker.She is survived by her children: Duane (Beth) Harward, Salt Lake; Winona Barrett of Sandy; Vern (Colleen) Harward of Sandy; Eldon (Cynthia) Harward of Fornina, CA; Miles (Celia) Jensen of Gunnison; Norma (Clyde) Nelson of Salt Lake; Bernice (Hal) Manwill of Idaho Falls, ID: Mardell (Elva) Jensen of Centerfield; daughter-in-law, Clarice Jensen of Ogden; 34 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; and 57 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl Harward; son Gail Jensen; brothers, Roy Harward, Frank Harward, Lee Harward, and Miles Harward; sister, Inez C. Mason.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 167, 1998, at 12 noon, in the Centerfield LDS Church, where friends may call from 10 to 11:30 prior to services. Interment will follow in the Aurora City Cemetery under the direction of the Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home.
