Lena Mae Montgomery, 69, died November 13, 1997 at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Born August 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arter McCutcheon and Lela Bell McCutcheon.
She attended schools in Portageville and Caruthersville, Missouri. On December 20, 1945 in Osceola, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Mr. John Montgomery. She was a very active member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Caruthersville and enjoyed her church work dearly.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert & Bobby Lynn McCutcheon.
Survivors include: her husband, John Montgomery of Caruthersville, Mo.; one son, Johnny L. Montgomery of Granite, Ok.; three daughters, Patricia Slentz, Kathy Davis and Diane Hudgins all of Caruthersville, Mo.; one brother, Audrey McCutcheon of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were held November 15, 1997 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kenny Durham and Alex Drumright officiating. Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
