Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hatley, 54, of Caruthersville, died Dec. 19, 1988 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1934 in Pemiscot County, she was the daughter of James E. and Mary Opal Lucas Middleton. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Billy B. Hatley of Caruthersville; Five sons, Ronnie Hatley of Ripley, Tenn., and Billy, James, Dennis and Gary Hatley, all of Caruthersville; Two daughters, Mrs. Tina Watkins and Doris Hatley, both of Caruthersville; Three brothers, Bill and Terry Middleton, both of Hazelgreen, Ala., and William Middleton of Caruthersville; Three sisters, Mrs. Peggy Hooker, Mrs. Helen Cummings and Mrs. Roberta Robertson, all of Caruthersville; And 14 grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, the Rev. Jim Watkins officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clarence and Leon Woods Jr., Tommy Lee, Steve and Lonnie Cummings and Roger Turner.
