NOTED PRODUCE MAN DEAD
Finis M. Stamper, leading produce merchant, died at his home in Urbandale at 2:00 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Stamper was 66 years old. He had been ill for several weeks.
He leaves his widow, a son, Howard H. Stamper, two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Fleming and Miss Kate Stamper, all of Moberly, and two sisters in Clifton Hill.
Mr. Stamper belonged to the First Baptist Church at Moberly, to the Moberly Rotary Club, and to the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Stamper started in business in 1893 in Clifton hill, where he had his first produce house. Since then he had over twenty stations in north Missouri and led in that business here.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 today at the First Baptist Church, the services to be conducted by the Rev. E. V. Lamb and Rev. W. Leslie Meyers. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery at Moberly.
