T. B. STAMPER DEAD

T. B. Stamper passed away at his home in Salisbury at seven o'clock Sunday evening.

A message was received here yesterday saying that Mr. Stamper was very low, but Mr. F. M. Stamper, his brother, residing in this city was in Chicago and Mrs. F. M. Stamper and Miss Lutie Bozarth were in St. Louis when they message was received.

Mrs. Stamper and Miss Bozarth returned last evening and Mrs. Stamper left for Salisbury on an early morning train.

Mr. Stamper left Chicago at once after hearing of the sad news and is expected to arrive tonight.

T. B. Stamper was an elderly gentleman and an old resident of Salisbury and highly respected gentleman. The funeral will be held in Salisbury on Tuesday.
