Ruby Mullins Willis Clark, 89, of West Chester, went home to be with her Lord surrounded by her family on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009.
She was the wife of the late Laurence Clark, who passed away in 1995.
She was born on May 18, 1920, on Spear Branch, Mountain City, Tenn., to Lon and Hattie Morley Mullins.
She was a homemaker who raised five children.
She enjoyed watching westerns on TV. Before she was ill she loved going to yard sales with her niece, Violet McKinney.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Doris Mock (Stephen) of Oxford; four sons, Dwight Willis (Susie) of Shade Gap, Douglas Willis (Margie) of Columbus, Ohio, Calvin Willis (Theresa) of Washington, Ind., and Dean Willis (Noreen) of West Chester; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Potter of Kingsport, Tenn.; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sparky.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dwight Willis Jr.; five brothers, Cy Mullins, Boyd Mullins, Otho Mullins, Garrett Mullins and James Mullins; and three sisters, Eula, Dorothy and Opal.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Edward L. Collins Funeral Home Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where family and friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Manor Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cochranville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross, 523 E. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380-2700.
