Funeral services for Mrs. Darilee Prudhomme Broussard, 81, were held at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas with
burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Broussard, a resident of Opelousas, died on Monday, March 12, 2001, in Doctors' Hospital in Opelousas.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.

Survivors include: two sons, Earl Broussard, of Opelousas and Woodrow Broussard, of Sunset; a sister, Enola Prudhomme of Carencro; five brothers, Calvin Prudhomme of Lawtell, Ralph Prudhomme of Port Barre, Eli Prudhomme of Cankton, J.C. Prudhomme of Baton Rouge and Paul Prudhomme of New Orleans; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her husband, Saul Broussard; a sister, Allie P. Fontenot; four brothers, Bobby Prudhomme, Elden Prudhomme, Abel Prudhomme and Malcolm Prudhomme; and her parents, Eli Sr. and Hazel Prudhomme.
