Mildred Alice Hayes Hineline, the daughter of Silas and Della (Ebright) Perry was born on June 29, 1910 south of Hardy, NE in the Hurley School District in Republic Co., Kansas. She passed away on March 22, 2003 at the Superior Good Samaritan Center in Superior, NE at the age of 92 years, 8 months and 23 days.

Mildred attended grade school at Rosemound School, south of Hardy, NE and graduated from Hardy High School in 1928. On December 30, 1933 she married Jessie Hayes. In 1937 a son was born, Calvin. In 1943, a daughter, Carolyn was born. In 1960 they moved to Superior. In 1966 she started cooking in the Good Samaritan Center where she enjoyed the elderly people. Her husband, Jessie passed away on June 12, 1980. In 1981 Mildred married Harold Hineline who had lost his wife and the two lived happily until Harold's death on November 8, 1993.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jessie and husband Harold, sister Emily Ocobock and half sister Ether Briggs, brother, Elmer Perry and half brother, Roy Strickland.

She is survived by her children, Calvin and wife Connie Hayes of Superior, NE, and Carolyn Combs and husband Dennis of Superior, NE. One step-daughter, Evelyn Heinrichs and husband Bob of Norfolk, NE three step-sons Harold Hineline and wife Dolores of Bakersfield, CA Lester Hineline and wife Lila of Lincoln, NE and Larry Hineline of York, NE. Three grandchildren, Troy and wife Marilyn, Todd and wife Melissa and Jeff and wife Brenda all of Superior, NE. Five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Montana, Emily and Trisha Hayes and Jenna Combs, 10 step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 10:30 AM from Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE with Pastor Mark Diehl officiating.

Pallbearers were Jim Butler, Paul Hutchinson, Mike Combs, Arnold Ross, Dennis Way, and Eulin Ebsen. Honorary pallbearers Ervin Strickland and Max Petch.

Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, NE.

Memorials may go in care of the family choice.
