Tractor Accident Kills Hardy Man

Elmer G. (Bub) Perry, 52, of Hardy, Neb., died late last Wednesday afternoon, February 3, of injuries received in an apparent tractor accident.

Perry was alone at the time of the accident and circumstances surrounding his death aren't clear. However, just before the accident he had used the tractor to pull his truck which was stuck in the snow.

Mrs. Perry then drove the truck to Paul's Feed Store. Upon returning home she found her husband lying on the ground unconscious and bleeding beside the tractor.

The Superior Nebraska Volunteer Fire Department was called but the rescue unit was unable to revive Mr. Perry.

The tractor was in neutral and Mrs. Perry thinks he probably blacked-out and fell from the tractor.
