"Earle B. Hollister, Sr., 76, of 26 Circle Rd., Longmeadow, died Friday in Ludlow Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1893, in Portland, Conn., and had lived in Longmeadow for the past 22 years. He was employed by Adley Express Co., this city for 20 years, retiring nine years ago. He is survived by his widow, Edith H. (Thompson) Hollister of Longmeadow; two sons, Earle B., Jr., and Giles C., both of this city; three daughters. Mrs. Beatrice Rancore of this city, Mrs. Elizabeth St. George of Windsor Locks, Conn., and Mrs. Ruth Bringe of St. Louis, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Eldridge of San Francisco, Cal. The funeral will be Tuesday at Byron funeral home with the Rev. David J. Dean, pastor of Foster Memorial Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery."
