"St. George. Elizabeth "Betty" (Hollister) St. George, 66, of 9 Oakwood St., Enfield, died Thursday (July 17) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. She was born in Portland, was a former resident of Windsor Locks for 20 years, residing in Enfield for 28 years. She was a retired weaver for the Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Co. She is survived by a her husband, Ciro J. St. George, Ciro E. St George of Suffield, Allen L. and Mark J. St. George, both of Enfield; a daughter, Joanne Tibbils of Enfield; a brother, Giles Hollister of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Beatrice Rancore of Springfield, Mass., and Ruth Bringe of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, 8 a.m., from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, with a mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m., in St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Enfield Community Ambulance Fund, PO Box 220, Enfield, 06082."
