Mary Ellen Averett was the daughter of Charles Washington & Elizabeth Ann Coates Averestt. She married Andrew Peter Jensen on December 18, 1889 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. They were the parents of two daughters, Anna Henrietta and Elizabeth Leona Jensen. They divorced and Mary married Richard Coombs Branch on June 28, 1898 in Price, Utah, he died in 1904. They were the parents of a daughter, Ella Richene Branch. Mary Ellen married Charles Phillips Johnson December 27, 1904 in Salt Lake City, UT. Mary Ellen died shortly after giving birth to their daughter Mary Ellen Johnson. He baby daughter died 2 months after her mother.
