Easterlin Dunn "Easy" Middleton was taken to his eternal home on Friday, September 10, 1999, at his ranch in Pomona Park.

He was born in Pomona Park and had lived there his entire life. At the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He worked for Hudson Pulp and Paper retiring after it became Georgia-Pacifica for 32 years. He raised cattle on his ranch and farmed watermelons, peaches, and fern. "Whiskers" was an avid hunter and traveled with his family in 48 states, Canada and Mexico. He and his son Dan were members of the Broward Grant Hunting Club. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pomona Park for 52 years where he also served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George Haines and Susie Watts Middleton; two brothers, Worth and Daniel; and one sister, Louise.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Middleton of Pomona Park; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary Middleton of Pomona Park; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and J. Ed Thomas of Crescent City; brothers, Downing Middleton, Clester Middleton, Cokey Middleton, Allen Spencer Middleton and Alonzo Middleton; sister, Martha Newton; seven grandchildren.
The family invites friends to celebrate his homecoming today, 11 a.m. at Middleton Oaks Cemetery on the Middleton
Ranch on Aunt Susie Street in Pomona Park with Reverend Gary Munson officiating.
