The following was from the letter to Mrs. Martha M. Park (Martha Simmons Parker's daughter) from her father Wyman Myner Parker. I typed it as the letter did, spelling etc.
"Martha (Simmons) Parker, daughter of William Birt Simmons and Amanda (Chipman) Simmons, was born January 1, 1828 in Canada. Was baptised and received her Endowments in the Temple in Nauvoo Illinoise. Afterwards was married to Henry Wilcox by whom she had two children - girls. Henry Wilcox and the oldest girl died in 1850 whilst crossing the plains. Amanda now lives in Randolph Utah. Your mother was married to me in Centerville, Davis Co. Utah June 25, 1851 and was afterwards sealed to me for time and all Eternity April 2, 1857 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City. She died near the mouth of Weber Canion in Davis County Utah on the 20th day of October 1859. Burried at Farmington, Utah."
