OBITUARY:
Rites Wednesday For Mrs. Cornwell

Services will be held in Morton Methodist church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Dorothy Frances Cornwell, 87, 202 North Grove street, who died Saturday morning in Redwood Falls hospital. Rev. Kenneth Willard will conduct the service and interment will be in Redwood Falls cemetery. Friends may call at Hoepner Funeral Home after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Dorothy Wiegman was born September 19, 1879 in Willamston, Mich., a daughter of Herman F. and Betsy Clark Wiegman two years and in Iowa 20 years before she was married to Wesley J. Cornwell in Pocahontas county, Iowa, January 1, 1901. They lived n Iowa and in 1915 they purchased a farm in Renville county. Her husband died in 1943 and Mrs. Cornwell then made her home with her daughter, Frances in several area towns where Frances taught school They moved to Redwood Falls in 1950. Mrs. Cornwell was a member of Morton Methodist church, Woman's Relief Corps and Union Home Mission.
Survivors include children, Frances; Leonard, Sacramento, Calif.; Irvin, Rolfe, Iowa; Ivis, Rochester; Mrs. L.H. 9Bernice) Blume, Kenneth and Wayne, Morton; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Joe (Sophie) Hertz, Rolfe, and Mrs. Alden (Carrie) Jones, Long Beach, Calif. A daughter, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
