Biography
Charles Ray Guillet, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Formerly of Rice's Crossing, Tex., Charles and his wife Shirley had resided in Georgetown for the past two and a half years.
An estimator for Stan's Heating & Air Conditioning, Charles had served his country in the Air Force, and was a long-time Methodist.
He loved to play guitar and sing, and he and Shirley went regularly to bluegrass music venues around Texas. They also enjoyed taking day trips on weekends, checking out barbeque restaurants.
Surviving Charles is his wife of 36 years, Shirley Lang Guillet; daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Rusty Pounds of Austin; grandsons Jonathan Pounds and Ryen Pounds of Austin, and Jason Guillet of Florida; step-daughter Michelle Davis of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; step-son David McKnight of Sedalia, Colo.; and sisters Ruth Thurman of Michigan, and Edna Ortego of Louisiana. His son, Michael Ray Guillet, and sisters Jewel, Dorothy and Violet preceded him in death.
