Ms. Calhoun was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Tipton, Okla. She enjoyed playing cards and working with computers.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Jesse Calhoun; daughters Carol Petersen of Fremont and Deborah Link of Hayward; son John Calhoun of Hayward; sisters Ruth Thurman of Michigan and Edna Ortego of Louisiana; brother Charles Guillet of Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
