Wednesday, April 30, 1986

Mildred Louise BUTTS, 91, Rt. 3, Wabash, died Tuesday at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home East, Wabash.

She was born March 20, 1895 in Franklin County, Iowa, to Joseph and Mary Louise LEIDER KNOLL, and had moved from Akron to Wabash 30 years ago. In November 1915 in Sheffield, Iowa, she was married to Phil Lucian BUTTS, who died July 6, 1960. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Wabash.

Surviving are two sons, J. Lloyd BUTTS, Rochester, and Arden BUTTS, Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Helene Louise) EPPLEY, Rt. 3, Wabash; a brother, Carl KNOLL, Goshen; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Grandstaff-Hentgen-Miner funeral Home, 86 E. Main St., Wabash, with the Rev. Thomas HODSON officiating. Burial will be in the Omega Cemetery, Akron. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday.
