Nichols-Loretta J. Hahn, 76, died Sunday Jan. 19, 1992 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following an extended illness.

A funeral mass will be Tuesday, Jan. 21 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nichols.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Nichols.

Mrs. Hahn was born Jan. 24, 1915 at Nichols, a daughter of Cleve and Julia Zybarth Hazen. She first married Martin Christofferson and later Lloyd Hahn.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She worked in the cafeterias at the Nichols and West Liberty schools for 38 years. She was also a local artist working with oil paints.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Soukup of Oxford, Iowa, Mrs. George (Lois) Cordwell of Muscatine, and Nancy Christofferson of Austin, Texas; one son DeWayne Christofferson of Longmont, Colo.; 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; two sisters Betty Ament of Cedar Rapids and Alberta Valett of Durant; and two brothers, Wayne Hazen of Davenport and Raymond Hazen of Atalissa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, and three brothers.
