MRS. CLEVE HAZEN
NICHOLS — A rosary for Mrs. Julie Marie Hazen, 79, a
resident of Nichols, will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty. Mrs. Hazen died
Wednesday evening at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at
St. Mary's church in Nichols. Officiating will be Rev. William Sullivan. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Nichols.
Visitation will begin Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hazen was born March 7, 1894 in Nichols, the
daughter of Joseph and Josephine Harper Zybarth. She
married Cleve Hazen Feb. 23, 1914 in Nichols.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Ray, West Liberty,
Albert of Nichols and Wayne of Davenport; three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Christofferson o f Nichols, Mrs. Alberta Valett of Durant and Mrs. Betty Ament of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Leonard (Pat) Zybarth of Nichols and Edward Zybarth of Wilton; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
