Nichols, Iowa, Funeral services over the remains of Frank Zybarth, a well known Nichols young farmer who passed away Friday night, were conducted from St. Mary's church yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Father Kissane officiated at the services and interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery. The pall bearers were Messrs Tom Bean, Roth Nolan, Charles Kertchner, William Kertchner, Louis Umschied and Rob Ryan.

Besides his widowed mother Mrs. Joseph Zybarth, the deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Stella Van Zandt of near Muscatine, Mrs. Julia Hazen of Nichols and three brothers, James, Leonard and Edwin Zybarth.

OBITUARY
Frank Joseph Zybarth was born July 29, 1897, near Nichols, and died at his home, north of town, May 31, 1918, the span of his life being 20 years, 10 months and 2 days.

Deceased was a young man of excellent qualities and was highly respected in this community where he had spent his entire life. He was reared in the Catholic faith and was a consistant adherent to the tenets of that faith. He was a hard working boy and his energetic nature made him a valuable aid to his father in the management of the farm, and more especially to his mother after the death of his father, which occurred only a few short weeks ago.

Early in February he was taken with pneumonia and was in critical condition, so much so that it was deemed necessary for him to be taken to Mercy hospital in Iowa City. After a short time spent there he returned to his home, but later went back to the hospital, at which times operations were preformed. it was planned that he should go to the hospital the third time and had every thing ready to go when the hemorrage came on last Friday and he passed away about 5 o'clock that morning.

He was a devoted and obedient son, a loving brother and trusted friend. he was popular with the young men his set; he was an enthusiant in ball playing and was a member of the Nichols ball team.

He is survivied by his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Stella VanZandt of near Muscatine and Mrs. Julia Hazen of Nichols, and three brothers, James, Leonard and Edward.

Funeral services were held in St. Mary's church Sunday morning at 9 o'clock by Father Kissane interment being made by the side of his father in St. Mary's cemetery.
