Irena "Arriney" Wedgewood was born in April of 1869 to John and Matilda (Luther) Parish in Lawrence County, Indiana. Irena often went by Arriney, though my grand aunt called her Rene (pronounced like 'Reen'). Irene married Charles Barnard in 1892, she then married Frank Wedgewood on May 11, 1907. Irene lived in Rabbitville during the late 1890's and then moved to the Spice Valley area some time after 1900. Irena Wedgewood passed away in Spice Valley, Indiana on December 16, 1933. She was buried in the Bass Cemetery.
