Mrs. Moore died Friday afternoon in an ambulance on the way to a Dallas hospital after being stricken with a heart attack.
She lived at 1511 McKell.
A native of Jewett, Leon County, she attended Mary Hardin Baylor College at Belton and was graduated from North Texas State Teachers College.
Before coming to Dallas she taught in Wellington, Collinsworth County, and Elgin, Bastrop County.
Surviving are a son, W. Ross Moore of Midland; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Sigmund and Mrs. W. H. Reid; two brothers, R. J. Thorne and M. C. Thorne; all of Dallas; and two grandsons.
