Mrs. Margaret E. Thorne, 68 years old, wife of J. L. Thorne, 1425 Greenville avenue, died Tuesday in a local sanitarium.

Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons, R. J., Carl and M. C. Thorne of Dallas; W. T. Thorne of Bridgeport and N. E. Thorne of Marlin, and three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Moore and Mrs. W. H. Reid of Dallas and Mrs. John Sigmond [sic Sigmund] of Aransas Pass.

Funeral service will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The pallbearers will be the five sons and the son-in-law, W. H. Reid.
