Mrs. Mary L. (Mollie) Cook, 92, a resident of the Decatur Community Care Center and a former resident of 210 South 11th St., died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Care Center.
She was a member of the Decatur Church of God.
She was born Feb. 26, 1883, in Monroe Township, to Perry and Martha Hughes-Everhart, and was married December of 1905 to Sam Cook who died July 14, 1964.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Dollie) Kocher, Decatur; one brother, Melvin Everhart, Hot Springs, Ark.; two half brothers, Howard Everhart, Hoagland; Perry Everhart, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Cloud, Hot Springs, Ark.; one grandson, William Kocher, East Lansing, Mich.; and four great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Winteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home, with Rev. Artie Burnett officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. today.
