Mrs. Perry Everhart Is Taken By Death
Dies At Hospital In Hot Springs, Ark.
Mrs. Martha Jane Everhart, 87, widow of the late Perry Everhart, died at 7:20 o’clock Wednesday evening at a hospital in Hot Springs, Ark. Death was caused by complications and followed an illness of eight months.
She was born in Starke County, O., January 11, 1859, the daughter of Dr. Alex and Kathryn Hughes. Her husband, Perry Everhart, died two years ago. She hd made her home for several years in this city with a daughter, Mrs. Sam Cook, until last November, when she went to the home of another daughter, Mrs. Frank Cloud, where she died.
Surviving in addition to the two daughters are three sons, Melvin E. Everhart, Al A. Everhart, both of Hot Springs and T. C. Everhart, Fort Wayne, Ind. (missing) and one sister is deceased.
The body will be returned to (missing). Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending arrival of the body.

Mrs. Martha Jane Everhart, 77, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cloud, 828 Bell street, following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Hot Springs for the past six months. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Sam Cook, Decatur, Ind., and three sons, Melvin E. Everhart, Al A. Everhart, both of Hot Springs and T. C. Everhart, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Gross Mortuary.
