Dorothy Raab Doerr, 90, died October 1, 1987 in Lovell. She was born October 27, 1896 in Kind, Marxstadt, Russia to Henry and Mary Raab. She imigrated to the United States in 1905. Mrs. Doerr was married to Lavin Doerr, March 22, 1914 in Port Huron, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband. Mrs. Doerr has been a resident of Lovell since 1916. She loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved her neighbors and long time friends. Her grandchildren were always a great joy to her. Mrs. Doerr has been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: John of Sheridan; Dela Porter of Englewood, Colorado; Minnie Fink, Frieda Wheeler, and Edwin, all of Lovell; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lovell on October 5, 1987 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dwayne Duley officiating. Burial was in the Lovell Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home.
